Mark Cuban just slammed Ted Cruz and named the Republican he’d rather vote for

Billionaire entrepreneur and owner of the Dallas Mavericks Mark Cuban slammed Sen. Ten Cruz (R-Texas) Sunday at the Brand Innovators Summit in Austin, Texas, calling him “the absolutely worst politician in Texas.”

Cuban prefaced that slam by saying he would rather vote for Donald Trump than Ted Cruz.

Despite liking Trump more than Cruz, Cuban was nonetheless unwilling to make an endorsement. He did, however, offer a critique.

“You’ve got to be able to adapt, whether you’re a politician or you’re a business person or you’re an entrepreneur,” he said. “You’ve got to be curious, you’ve got to want to learn, you’ve got to be excited about always learning, and that’s what I want in a candidate, someone who’s learning and evolving.”

The way the Dallas Morning News put it was that Cuban believes “Trump hasn’t shown a natural curiosity or desire to learn about new and nuanced issues.”
